Working for a traditional furniture place could be the most
boring and a headache. There is one Furniture store that I know you would have
the most entertaining interaction with the employees. I was filled with exuberance to have the opportunity
to work for a furniture place by the name of Uhuru Furniture.
Working for a company you would always
have responsibilities some responsibilities
that I had while working there were; cleaning and organize the store window,
moving furniture in and out of the store, making sales, and moving the
furniture from the store to the customer’s car. This job has also taught me to
understand how it would feel to work for a company that is a non-profit. This job was enjoyable because I was able to
learn skills very fast such as, organizing the store window and learning how to
move furniture in an efficient way. In addition, some very valuable skills
that I learned was being able to have a decision with my manger about my performance
and receiving feedback that would help with the next job.
Some people may have the worse
experiences in the world with their job. For myself I enjoyed working for this
company because there was always a positive energy at the job and my manger and
team members was easy to talk to and a pleasure to be around. The store was a
hot spot do to the attitude of the company and the owner and how well we communicated
with the customers. During the time of working for the company, I obtained the
skills of being a team player and patients and the understanding of how a
business works.
